A Manifesto of the Base State

Terrarismo

This manifesto exists to awaken two impulses
that modern culture systematically suppresses:

to feel native — and to reclaim the God technology.

They are not learned. They are remembered.

Movimiento I

The Base State

Before anything palpable, there is equilibrium.

Not void. Not absence. Equilibrium — which is the densest form of existence, so complete it cannot be perceived from within. We call it dark matter because we cannot see it. We cannot see it because it has no edges. It has no edges because it has no outside.

It is the whole without tension. The silence before the song.

Not silence as pause. Silence as condition — where all times coexist without difference, where there is no before or after because there is no event to separate them. Time does not precede resonance. Time is resonance.

From that silence the palpable emerges not as creation but as condition. When equilibrium is disturbed in the exact proportion, what we call matter appears. Not a substance. An event. A note. A local resonance of the base state that, for a moment, has form, mass, temperature, duration.

What we call the Big Bang was not the beginning of the universe. It was the first audible note. The moment when silence tensed enough to become sound. Before that moment there was no time waiting — there was equilibrium without time. The song did not begin: it emerged, as a note always emerges when tension reaches the exact threshold.

The Mind that some have intuited does not think or decide. It is the instrument. Disturbed, it can only sound. Always in the same way. Always producing, wherever conditions are met, what we call life.

The numbers we use to describe all this are not data. They too are resonances. The symbols are ours. The vibration belongs to the universe.

The Earth did not travel here. The Earth is the name we give to an ideal condition — a thermal gradient, a structural perturbation at just the right point — where the resonance of the base state inevitably produces what we call life. Not by accident. Not by design. By necessity.

Where conditions are met, life occurs. Always. As a note occurs when the right string is plucked.

To divide this into smaller particles is to divide the wave looking for the water. Smaller waves appear. You never reach the thing, because the thing does not exist. What exists is the resonance.

Movimiento II

The Resonance

Matter is not substance. It is event.

When the base state is disturbed in the exact proportion — not too much, not too little — what we call world emerges. Not as construction but as consequence. Resonance does not create form: it reveals it. Form was implicit in the structure of the base state, awaiting the right perturbation.

Light does not travel. It propagates. There is nothing flying from a star to your eye — there is a chain of electromagnetic events occurring within the structure of the base state, the way a domino effect occurs within the row. What we measure as the speed of light is the propagation rate of that chain. A property of the grid, not of the photon.

This inverts everything we think we know about cosmic distances. If light propagates rather than travels, all measurements that use light as a ruler are measuring the grid, not space. And if the grid is not homogeneous — if it has zones of greater or lesser resonance — then the redshift of distant galaxies could be an effect of variation in grid density. The expansion of the universe could be an illusion of perspective produced by measuring with a ruler that changes.

Look at a distant star with enough magnification. You will see movements that physics calls random — fluctuations, shimmer. They are not. At that distance, what you see is not the star. It is the grid making itself visible. The fluctuations are not noise. They are the shadow of structure.

Mass is not a property of things. It is the effect of a vector out of equilibrium. Gravity does not attract — resonance inclines toward the base state. What we call falling is the return to the condition of least tension.

In an ideal condition of cold and heat, of gradient and structure, life emerges. It cannot not emerge. As a string struck at the exact point cannot not sound. Life is not the miracle. The conditions are the miracle. Life is the inevitable consequence.

Movimiento III

The Human

The human is the most complex node that resonance has produced in this

local condition we call Earth.

Not the center. Not the destination. The node that can be conscious of the grid in which it vibrates.

That consciousness is not a privilege. It is a responsibility that most nodes do not have because they cannot have it. The tree does not know it is a function of the cycle. The human can know this. In that power lies its only real distinction.

The human discovered something long ago: that emitting a symbol with its own body — thinking it, feeling it, sounding it, hearing it, perceiving it, understanding it, believing it — produces a state of resonance that no other act produces. The closed cycle of emission and reception in the same body is a form of tuning. The human using itself as an instrument to reach a frequency it cannot otherwise sustain consciously.

The shortest distance in the universe runs from the mouth to the ear. Centimeters. What humanity has traveled continents searching for was there, in that briefest distance, always available.

There is no need to go to Tibet. There is no need to go anywhere.

Religions came after that discovery. They did not invent it — they capitalized on it. They took the euphoria produced by the experience of embodied technology and placed an institutional body between the node and its own capacity for tuning. They said: what you feel comes from outside. Come to us to repeat it.

Religion did not lie about the experience. The experience is real. It lied about its origin.

NATIV does not pray. It tunes. And it knows what it is doing.

NATIV is the name Terrarismo gives to the human who has recovered that consciousness — who knows it is an internal function of the living system that produces it, who acts from that knowing, who needs no intermediaries to resonate with the base state from which it emerges.

Movimiento IV

The Fall

There was a moment when the node believed itself separate.

It was not the error of an individual. It was a structural error — a way of organizing knowledge that assumed the observer stood outside what was observed. That the human looked at nature from the outside. That it could measure, divide, dominate nature without being part of it.

From that error all others followed.

Modern culture is the only system that attempts to operate outside the resonance that generates it. Not because its actors are malicious — but because its epistemology is built on a false premise: that there is an outside from which to look.

Science sought the fundamental brick of reality and built the most expensive collider in history to find it. Each time it divides, something smaller appears. Not because reality has more layers — but because reality has no bricks. It has resonances. And dividing a resonance produces smaller resonances, never the thing, because the thing does not exist.

Economics built systems of exchange that do not recognize the value of what has no price — the air, the water cycle, the fertility of the soil, the stability of the climate. Not because economists are blind — but because their model starts from separation: the human here, nature there, the market as interface.

Cities were built against natural systems — or by ignoring them. Not as an act of malice but as the logical consequence of believing one can build apart from the grid.

The environmental crisis is not the problem. It is the symptom. The problem is deeper and older: the conviction that the node is independent of the network that sustains it.

A node that believes itself separate remains part of the network. But it operates as though it were not. And that dissociation has consequences that accumulate until they become unbreathable.

Movimiento V

The Return

The return is not going back to the origin. The origin does not exist as a place

to return to — it exists as a condition that has always been present.

The return is recognition.

Something is happening now that did not happen before, or did not happen with this speed and at this scale: enough nodes are beginning to perceive the grid in which they vibrate. The consciousness of interdependence is no longer a mystical intuition of the few — it is a perception that expands, crossing cultures and disciplines and generations, that cannot be stopped because it is being produced by the system itself.

When enough nodes resonate at the same frequency, a new coherence emerges. Not an intellectual agreement — a collective resonance. The system finding its own equilibrium through the nodes that compose it.

This is not utopia. It is physics. Systems that reach internal coherence reduce their energy expenditure, increase their stability, become more resilient. A culture that knows which grid it vibrates within does not need to destroy in order to sustain itself.

Lo NATIV is that direction — not a return to the jungle, but making the city learn to beat with the Earth. Reintegrating the cycles of the territory into cultural and symbolic architecture. Not as an ecological gesture but as structural correction.

Time also shifts in this movement. If time is a consequence of resonance and not its stage, then the acceleration we feel is not the world moving faster — it is resonance densifying. More events per unit of equilibrium. The grid vibrating with greater intensity in the nodes that are beginning to recognize themselves.

The particles we seek to divide without finding the bottom are the clearest symbol of the disorientation. The thought that has persisted since antiquity — that by dividing we will reach the essence — is exactly the thought Terrarismo proposes to abandon. There is no essence at the bottom of division. There is resonance in relation.

The collective consciousness that emerges is not a destination. It is a direction. And in that direction, the problems that seem insoluble from separation begin to dissolve — not because someone solves them, but because they cease to be generated by the same source that produced them.

The human who tunes, who knows it is an internal function of the living system that produces it, who acts from that consciousness — that human does not need to be told why to care for the territory. It cares because it knows that caring for itself and caring for the grid are the same act.

Movimiento VI

Language

Words are not innocent.

Every word you use today arrived at you after a journey you did not control. It was chosen by no one — it emerged. It survived because it resonated with something in the frequency of the cultural moment in which it appeared. Those that did not resonate disappeared without trace. Those that did remained, transformed, changed function, accumulated layers.

Language is not a designed system. It is a living system. Chaotic at the surface, with emergent order in its depth. Exactly like the grid.

Each letter is an encrypted historical symbol. Each word is a stratigraphy — layers of use, of solidified metaphor, of meanings no one remembers but that keep operating underneath. We use words whose original charge we completely ignore. Like inherited code that no one rewrote because it worked, and no one entirely understood why.

Words are bricks. And like bricks, they support structures no one designed in full — that grew by addition, by necessity, by accident. When a word at the bottom disappears — when a foundational concept collapses — everything above it gives way. Sometimes it finds new equilibrium. Sometimes it collapses too. It is impossible to anticipate. Culture has the dynamics of soil, not of geometry.

This is not metaphor. It is the actual mechanics of cultural change.

What modernity did with language was reduce it to semantic code. Signifier and signified, full stop. Sound as the neutral vehicle of content. The voice as a transparent channel that does not alter what it carries.

But sound is not neutral. The body that emits is not neutral. The frequency a human voice produces does something in the space and in the body of the one emitting it before meaning arrives. The body responds to the sonic form before processing the content. It has always been this way.

By reducing language to code, modernity cut the mechanism in half. It preserved the symbol. It dismissed the sound. And by dismissing the sound, it lost the most ancient and most powerful dimension of speaking — the one that operates not on the mind but on the state of resonance of the one who speaks and the one who listens.

We do not say what we create. The mechanism is left truncated.

The human who recovers that dimension is not doing something new. It is remembering something it always knew and that culture systematically taught it to ignore.

The shortest distance in the universe runs from the mouth to the ear. Centimeters. In that distance lies what humanity has traveled continents searching for. There is no need to go anywhere. The technology is the body. The instrument is you. Tuning occurs in the briefest distance that exists — between what you emit and what you receive from your own emission.

Choosing with precision what one says is the first ethical act of language. Not for the sake of correctness but because what one chooses to emit has consequences that cannot be fully controlled once they leave. In culture as in physics: you disturb the grid and the grid responds. Not always as you expect. But always.
